Faces On TV - Love / Dead
Info: Belgian act Faces On TV (Jasper Maekelberg) has just released his new single, 'Love / Dead' and its accompanying video (above) by young director Victor Van Rossem. Maekelberg himself is a 26-year old producer /engineer / mixer who works with Sam Sparro, Gabriel Rios, Soldier’s Heart & Warhola, he writes, records and mixes everything himself and plans to release his third single and debut E.P. in 2016.
'Love / Dead' is a nice swing tune, it's bubbly intro leading into a soft pop parade of chill, Maekelberg keeps it simple rhythmically and it works nicely with his crisp vocals. The excellent 3D video also adds greatly to the songs mood and storyline, sounding quite like Röyksopp meets White Town and providing enough enjoyment to make the new E.P. something to look forward to indeed.
