Info: The Evertides are Ruth McGill, Alma Kelliher and Ruth Smith, an Irish musical trio influenced by close vocal harmony and folk song. We had a huge debut year in 2014 of sell-out shows at Whelans, Chancery Lane and The Abbey’s Peacock Theatre, with appearances at festivals such as Whelans Ones To Watch, Body & Soul and supporting Wallis Bird and The Lost Brothers as part of their European tours.

December 2017 sees the release of the second EP from the The Evertides, a vocal and instrumental trio made up of Ruth McGill, Alma Kelliher and Ruth Smith, inspired by close vocal harmony and folk song.

This EP is called 'Winter' and includes three songs that speak from the heart of Winter and the ebb and flow of the seasons. On a frosty day in November we gathered together with a fire and many cups of tea to create our new song 'Silence Falling'. It felt like the right thing to do, to meet Winter with a warm
welcome. We paired this with a cover of 'Scarlet Ribbons' and our reworking of WB Yeats’ 'The Love Song of Wandering Aengus'.
